Mr. Meeble is an electronic glitch rock band from Phoenix, AZ. They just released their latest album and first in three years - "Nostalgic For Now." The album is a collection of music that captures the spectrum of introspection and emotion that nostalgia creates. Its electronic-oriented percussion and ambient synthetic overtones evoke a sort of happy-sad feeling - that contradictory experience of looking back on amazing times with both fondness and regret. Don't get me wrong - this isn't sad music. Mr. Meeble creates a very meaningful energy with this approach. The single "Star Power" is [...]
Electronic glitch rock group Mr. Meeble has released a new EP, Nostalgic For Now , on the Phoenix-based label, Absolute Motion. The duo of Devin Fleenor and Michael Plaster completed the tracks during their European tour in the fall of 2011. In addition to the EP, the band has created a technological spectacle in the form of the "Star Power" music video. The EP "sounds like remembering" , according to Fleenor, who describes it as a more optimistic work than their 2008 [...]
Electronic music is a tricky beast to get right. Get it wrong and it basically turns into incoherent noise. Get it right and you end up with stuff that's wonderfully lucid and surreal, but catchy at the same time. Thankfully, this track sits firmly in the latter category, otherwise why would I be posting about it? Shame on you, possible person that thought otherwise! Anyway, if the promise of delightful electronic music doesn't get you going, how about infra-red projection and lasers? Mr. Meeble uses some kind of rad body suit while performing on stage (and in the [...]

Mr. Meeble , a duo out of Phoenix, make harmonized glitch-pop at it’s finest. New single, “Star Power”, which begins with a Twilight Zone-esque clatter, is a journey into a dark trance underground where really anything is bound to happen. This is also the video debut of the “ghost portal”, a custom infrared projection suit that Devin from the band wears during the live shows. Listen to the rest of their recently released EP, Nostalgic For Now , below.
Mr. Meeble of Phoenix, Arizona has some interesting pop tracks on his cloud. The understated production style behind the vocal has a nice smack of washed out substance to it. • MR. MEEBLE [FB] Posted by Celebrity Sex Tape.
Mr. Meeble from Phoenix in the USA is the trio of Devin Fleenor , Michael Plaster and Rick Heins together with a plethora of technology. Mr. Meeble If you ever wondered what Jean Michel Jarre would have sounded like were he now at the early stage of his career, Mr. Meeble provide the answer. They scoop up refrains from '70s psychedelia and hurtle them forward in time to emerge with their own experimental space rock. The connection [...]
Mr. Meeble just returned home after a whirlwind 18-date tour throughout Europe. It's really exciting to see a talented band from Phoenix make the hop across oceans and play countries like Czech Republic, Servia, Spain, and Portugal. The tour was reported as a successful endeavor and they're now ready to finish it off with their last Phoenix show for the year. The show is a 21+ event at Crescent , which means you can expect some booming sound to go along with Meeble's laser show. I'd recommend arriving early, as the all-locals lineup is worth skipping out [...]
Discoforgia is back with a track for you to download. This is big beat reinterpreted for the 2010s. Rock electro if you like. He says is atypical for Discoforgia, but it isn't since it still has that strong acid aftertaste but batters you like big beat did. Blurb: Atypical remix from DISCOFORGIA, this time for MR.MEEBLE from Phoenix ( http://meeble.com/ ). Rocky Electro Breakbeat 110 BPM track! Only the wonderful vocal part and the lead guitar part were used. And I really love the final result!
" Mr. Meeble is glitchy organic electronica and dark experimental pop, connected by bits of soul, hip-hop, and rock." He is from Phoenix and here's the video of " Until I Grasp the Second " plus a nice electronic verision of " Liar " by Discoforgia .
The combination of Marina & The Diamonds + Ashes + drum and bass doesn't really require having to give more information. MP3: I Am Not A Robot (Ashes Remix) by Marina & The Diamonds Atypical remix from DISCOFORGIA, this time for MR.MEEBLE from Phoenix. It's a rocky electro beat coming in at 110 BPM and only sampling the vocal and lead guitar to achieve this play-worthy final result! MP3: Liar (DISCOFORGIA Remix) by Mr. Meeble [...]

Here's a fresh Earmilk exclusive straight from electro expert Àrcade Discoforgia . While this track is a remix, it enters original track territory by only using the vocal and lead guitar parts of the original track, "Liar," by Mr.Meeble . This song goes hard, with Discoforgia's punky, rocky influences shining through in a high-energy electro banger that's laced with a hint of darkness and mystery. Enjoy! Download: Mr.Meeble - Liar (DISCOFORGIA Remix)
I know there's a lot of people with varying opinions on the Cityscape project, and I haven't quite decided how I feel about it all yet. However, I think one thing that everyone can agree on is we need more places downtown that will allow for awesome events like this one to take place. For the December edition of First Friday, the mega-development will be hosting the 26 Blocks exhibit that features 26 writers teamed up with 26 photographers set out to document the history and evolution of 26 different blocks around Phoenix. The exhibit is [...]
Here's another attempt to breathe some life into this blog. No big texts, just music: Viola 's gift for August is here: Viola - Traitor On The Inside (MP3) Them Youth has been sending over some remixes. Listen here and download some of them here . [...]
Mr Meeble Mr Meeble is a genuine contender for naff name of the year. A name that makes the trio sound like the strange man at the end of your road who talks gibberish and smells of bacon. Which is a pity because the sound is quite beautiful. Twitchy, skittish ambient electronica that sounds like Coldplay trying their hand at trip hop. Unlike the strange man at the end of your street Mr Meeble create aural masterpieces that massage the senses floating, bobbing and weaving [...]
Local band Mr. Meeble just gave the internet a treat by posting a new song named "Gift" for all their fans to gobble up. This track is epic and lush and quite possibly the best song I've heard come out of Phoenix all year. This is exactly the kind of sound I'm looking for when I'm staying inside on hot summer nights to avoid having to take my third shower of the day. Luckily we shouldn't have to wait much longer to get a whole lot more Meeble, as they also shared the news that they're busy at [...]
Bryan Vaughan - papergardenrecords.com Being a low-level blogger isn't easy. I know it might seem like we just sit around and listen to music all day, occasionally sharing our opinions and complaining about Britney's latest album, but it's so much more than that. Sometimes we even complain about The Killers ’ new album. I know, I know, don't worry, I'm seeking medical attention as we speak. Alas, this is the life of the blogger who is slightly above the level of your Aunt Martha who managed to turn on her computer and figure out how [...]
