laurasteil mandymurphy That tonight's gonna be a good night? No, don't worry, as much as I'd like to, I'm not posting that Black Eyed Peas song. Completely unrelated intro to this post. A bit cheery, but the Buffetlibre remix of Dragonette 's Easy . It's from their new album Fixin to Thrill which I'm ashamed to say I haven't got yet. I'm a huge Dragonette fan regardless of how pop you're going to say they sound. The Mr. Vega [...]

There's a weird off-kilter vibe to this track "Smurf", the newest to come out of young blood Seanie Will in a while, a sort of mathy progression of snaps and effects, drums and synths that come in and out of...
So, earlier today we came across this video online that was comprised of a recorded argument between two middle-aged women on the NYC subway system--the D train, no less--and it was pretty priceless. It puts you pretty much rather easily...

Last night was a fun night for everyone who came out to Europa to watch NY and Chicago rock the stage. It was great CMJ party thrown by fellow friends/bloggers Hannah from Sheenabeaston (who was great to finally meet after all our twitter exchanges) and Jeff from The Culture of Me . They really put together an awesome line up that was perfect for the venue. The free PBR from 9-10 was the perfect way to start the night off, and by the time PBR dream ended, Tempo No Tempo had came on to [...]

Major Lazer ft. Mr. Vegas & Jovi Rockwell - Can't Stop Now Finally found something I can grab on to that Major Lazer created. This song has an old school 1960s dancehall/ska feel to it. Which is awesome because I love old school roots reggae.

I can always get into this type of music. Major Lazer has been blowing up throughout the blogs so why not join the craze. Mr. Vegas is brought back to life and gives us the type of song you can just lay down on the beach somewhere exotic and relax to. Major Lazer ft. Download audio file (plastikfantastik.mp3) "I heard once you make it to the top they only wanna see you fall... To me Felix is a huge influence and inspiration. From the first time i heard Metropolis Present Day to Kittenz and Thee Glitz to the most recent He Was King i've never been disappointed. This summer i saw him play at Le Brooklyn Royale and in all honesty it was hands down one of the best dj sets i've witnessed. I've never left a party before with the hunger and desire to be [...]
