
Music For Animals is a San Francisco based indie rock band that I'm just starting to get into. They have a self titled album out that's pretty good. The highlight for me is the track "Rice Fields". Most of the album is pretty high energy and sound, but they take it down a couple notches on "Rice Fields". Deep vocals and sparse acoustics roll along like that navy blue hillside out my car window at 3 am. It's quite likeable and catchy.
