There is something about this Music For Your Heart debut album that makes me look forward to what Sandra Zettpunkt will do next. It's beautiful, easy to listen to, soothing, simple music. Not only her voice is as sweet as it gets, the instrumental part of the album (which Sandra did mostly on her own) complements it beautifully. Music For Your Heart dropped like a late-90s ray of sunshine into my inbox. First listening to "The One", I felt like Stuart Murdoch had died without me knowing and had been reincarnated as Sandra Zettpunkt, the soft-voiced singer of this project. It sounds like classic Belle and Sebastian, with the light guitar hook, barely-there drumming, and third-person narrative. If You're Feeling Sinister is one of my favourite albums - potentially my favourite, I'd have to really think about it - and "The One" sounds straight out of those recording sessions. Passend zum schönen Wetter verschenkt Sandra Zettpunkt ein wenn auch etwas ernüchterndes, aber doch Fühlgut-Lied ihrer kommenden ersten Platte. Dass Zettpunkt ein Label betreibt und selbst Music For Your Heart spielt, haben wir kürzlich erfahren dürfen. Nun zeigt sie auch grosses Herz und verschenkt neben dem Video zu 'Unwound' einen weiteren Song, der die Wartezeit auf das am 25. September erscheinende LP-Debüt "Turning Marvel" verkürzen soll. Ausnahmsweise gibt's heute anstelle eines Songs ein Label des Tages, zu Ehren des im Herbst kommenden Solo-Debüts der Gründerin. Von klein auf hat sich Sandra Zettpunkt als Schlagzeugerin hinter Bandkollegen und später als Stimme im Radio versteckt. Als Emily Parker unternahm sie erste Soloversuche, spielte Musik für's Herz und nennt sich inzwischen dementsprechend. Aus ihrem langjährigen Engagement beim Hamburger Radio FSK entstand in Zusammenarbeit mit ihrem Bruder das Label Sunday Service , wo am 25.
