While preparing my next DJ Set i stumbled on this instrumental dub version Mustang did last year for "What You Know" from Two Door Cinema Club . I have already listened to this more than 100 times. We're a bit late to this, but we're big fans of Mustang - so we had to come back to it - 'Shooting Love' is the Belgium duo's latest single and come with a few flavours. After featuring a number of electro and harder releases, here's something a bit more synth based from French duo Mustang. The original of Shooting Love is a slightly sweetened version of Technique- era New Order synths. But the Black Strobe mix is the version to go for. This adds a little acid (aciiiid) to the sugariness of the original giving a much more balanced flavour and restoring a bit of saucer-eyed chemical wonder at the vastness of space to the Gallic archness.
