I don't know a ton about My Friend Wallis , but I do know that it's the moniker of Crystal Dorval from the Victoria band Vincat . Now she's based out of Vancouver, and specializes in fragile, tropical-tinged pop. Here's the intriguing "Running," which switches between sunny beach-ready verses and woozy waltz-time breaks.
