Pleasant electronic pop track from Futurecop! - brilliant name by the way. Taken from the EP "The Adventures of Starpony" out now on The Sleepover Party . Futurecop! - Far Away (ft My Tiger My Timing)

Instead of asking My Tiger My Timing to write a fresh tour diary for us, we decided to delve into Anna Vincent's tour scrapbook like the nosey-parker's we are. Below you'll find a selection of pages from the scrapbook which documents four years of shows, parties and fun. MTMT Scrapbook Page 1 These are some photobooth pics we got when we first played in Hamburg at Astra Stube. We went back there again this [...]

Facebook / mytigermytiming.com/ Surely the most apt title of a track I could post about right now. Something Team GB have come more and more accustomed to in the last 48 hours, "The Gold Rush" is the latest single by London based five piece My Tiger My Timing's debut album Celeste . Released prior to the Olympics (with perhaps more than a little foresight, or great coincidence) the track is sure to improve your mood even further, I challange anyone but the hardest miserablists not to find something satisfaction [...]

Debut albums are a precious commodity. After all, they only happen once. As the old music industry saying goes, a band have their whole lives to concoct their debut album, filtering years of rehearsals, live shows and recording sessions into one disc. Read more »

Four years in the making, the British Electropop album of the year, if practically every UK commentator that's heard it are to be believed.

The darkness in My Tiger My Timing is easy to miss - it lies, as they say, behind the eyes. With a new wave pop exterior that feels endearingly familiar in an indie rock landscape saturated with the genre, Anna Vincent and crew could be mistaken for some simple hipster sonic candy, just as the cute blonde kid on the front of their album could be mistaken for someone cute and harmless. But on tracks like "The Gold Rush", My Tiger My Timing hints at a dark underbelly, one that is representative of the evil that exists in all of [...]

My Tiger My Timing From: London, United Kingdom London synth pop combo My Tiger My Timing are a riddle wrapped up in a mystery covered in a conundrum. How do you define their musical stew of quirky organic rhythms and danceable experimental hypnotic-pop? It transcends boundaries of genre and geography, defying categorisation and comparison. On their self released debut album Celeste , a record nearly four years in the making, the [...]

London synth pop combo My Tiger My Timing are a riddle wrapped up in a mystery covered in a conundrum. How do you define their musical stew of quirky organic rhythms and danceable experimental hypnotic-pop? It transcends boundaries of genre and geography, defying categorisation and comparison. On their self released debut album Celeste , a record nearly four years in the making, the unfathomable five piece don't make it any easier for us poor reviewers (aah I know your heart is bleeding for us). This is a band that defy the usual lazy musical [...]

New Cross trendies they might be, but quirky new wave pop quintet My Tiger My Timing actually seem rather down to earth. After a flurry of singles championed and/or produced by names such as Andy Spence (Of New Young Pony Club) and Kitsuné, Celeste , their debut, has proven a hard-fought DIY affair, self-released on their Snakes and Ladders label. MTMT’s sound to the uninitiated is best described as a fey, guitar-led electro pop in a similar milieu to Gang Gang Dance (in their more cheerful moments) and Le Corps Mince [...]

My Tiger My Timing From: London, United Kingdom The Devil has been singing the praises of London five piece My Tiger My Timing for four years ( Talking Tiger , A Roaring Success ) and I'm so pleased that they are finally releasing their debut album. Celeste will be released on 2nd July through their [...]

London indie pop band My Tiger My Timing that Mike has written about several times last time back in 2009 here are getting ready to release new album 'Celeste' in July . My Tiger My Timing already gave us some nice poppy tunes, and will finally collect those on an album. Their debut album 'Celeste' will be coming out on July 2nd through Snakes & Ladders. To celebrate, they are previewing 'Wasteland', the opening track from the album. It's a perfect electropop track: catchy, stays stuck in your head and you can sing along with it very fast. Great stuff, La Roux would be jealous.... Stream it here and enjoy it!
