Linus Loves was the man who worked with Mylo to start up Breastfed Records, a Scottish dance label that hasn't (sadly) seen much output since both of their debut albums ( Stage Invader and Destroy Rock and Roll ) around 2005. Those bedside cotton buds (that we talked about earlier) may well have to be finally used on Hardwell & Dannic’s ‘Blow Up In The Deep’ mashup folks - as they unfortunately decide on using Adele’s vocal amidst this solid creation. It seems constant comparisons to Madonna (we're as guilty as anyone) might have actually gone to Ronika's head, as her latest song 'Dance' with 20042s electronic poster-boy Mylo sounds strikingly similar to Stuart Price's well-recieved work with Madge. It's not a criticism, not at all - if anything - it's a compliment. 'Dance' is a very suitable piece of disco-infused pop, that's more delicate than dance-y. Tegan and Sara have a new single out on 25 September. A bit less lo-fi than their early stuff and a bit more rocky Avril Lavigne (and that's not a criticism). As D will confirm, I have - as she puts it - a weakness for wailing women. I do like this single.
