My favorite rapper, Nas, hooks up with my favorite music director, Chris Robinson , to create this dope visual for his latest single, " Daughters ." Dope concept on this one and I like how Destiny's cameo wasn't forced. Although Nasir's baby's mom was " disappointed " in him for penning a song about their daughter's most recent public troubles, I'm digging the song and think the video came out perfect. Directed by Chris Robinson Nasty Nas drops a compelling P.O.V. visual for the No I.D.-assisted "Daughters" track. The clip tracks the daddy/daughter relationship from her eyes and even has a cameo from Nas' own teenage daughter. The track is scheduled to appear on the rapper's 10th solo album, Life is Good , due out in July.

I can't even begin to tell y'all how hard this track hit me when I first heard it & the thoughts that were running through my head just now as I watched the video for the 1st time. Brooklyn native N.A. rips a hypnotic stunner of a beat that takes cues from British bass music, coming off like a cleaner, less head-in-the-clouds take on Clams Casino.
