The crunchy, we’re-taking-you-down-the-ba ck-alley-as-a-shortcut route of The “non-fearing” Glitch Mob , trio their way through an exceptional and surprising dominance of Nalepa optimism and Monday morning confidence. Sanguine and buoyant in their breakbeat exposure and razor-sharp loudness, The Glitch Mob’s remix of Nalepa is a true spectacle that pushes their boat out and sinks their anchor into the sea of the mind’s eye beautifully. NALEPA - Monday (The Glitch Mob Remix)

Hump day madness!!!!!! Here's about a year old throwback for you, Nalepa's 'Monday' Glitch Mob Remix. The MOB usually never disappoints and the same story seems to be true with this one. Click here to view the embedded video. "Across the City" isn't the usual parkour shoot - these dudes put a real grace to the movement. But team 'em up with some fine tunes from the Glitch Mob and this video really starts to step its game up. We all know that music makes movies, but in this the video really made the music. The two tracks included are "Beyond Monday" by The Glitch Mob and The Glitch Mob's remix of "Monday", originally by Nalepa. I actually saw the music [...]

On July 12th The Glitch Mob will finally put out a new release titled "We Can Make The World Stop." To promote their current tour and the album release, they've sent out a free track from the EP called "Warrior Concerto." What begins as a slightly symphonic tune turns into an energetic, violin laden ear-gasm that returns to the roots of what The Glitch Mob is all about. Grab the single below, as well as my favorite throwback tune, and keep an eye out for them on the road. For my Dallas readers they'll be at Trees Wednesday, [...]

I.T.S. Presents : Beats For A Bench : Event Info | Pre Sale Tickets Over the past year it has become even more apparent to me that the city of Long Beach is becoming more and more organized in terms of quality music events. Sure you can say I'm biased because I'm involved with a handful of events. I'm also biased because of good number of my friends are creating/nurturing these events. Regardless of my ties to the city it's safe to say we have something to say and more importantly we stand [...]
Below is the latest edition of our weekly feature, Stuck On Repeat . The premise is simple, we’ve asked all our contributors to submit one track and a brief write-up. The track can be new or it can be old, just whatever we could not stop [...]

The Glitch Mob are known to scratch up some great beats or throw a spin on a song to get you up out of your seat. Their remix to "Monday" provides just that and although I am unfamiliar with the original, it is fair to say I am content with this remix. Hey guys ! Simian Mobile Disco, Kraddy, Massive Attack remixes and Destronics, sounds yummy ? Yeah, it is ! So, Simian Mobile Disco released a new album last week, totally forgot about it until yesterday, when a friend played I Believe . This album is way more techno influenced than others, with long tracks. What can I say about it ? It's pretty... strange, because it does not really sound like the SMD [...]

The first two tracks I ever heard from The Glitch Mob were both remixes of Evil Nine's, 'All The Cash' and Nalepa's, 'Monday'. Ever since then i've been in love with them. The way they seem to effortlessly blend their vast multitudes of knee destroying electro vibes is incredible. With the trio's recent sharp rise to fame thanks to both a big online following and most importantly their incredible live performances, the band seem to be generating some hype with their highly anticipated debut album scheduled for release this spring. Entitled, 'Drink The Sea' the album is set [...]

pic by Raul Oprea Sebastian Yours truly is looking at 3 weeks of holiday, starting tomorrow! I couldn't help but thinking about the tunes I'll be blastin' through the speakers tomorrow... I decided to pick some of those tracks and post 'em up here. A-Trak did a great job mashing up Lil Wayne's "Fireman" with a reggae tune by Richie Spice . The reggae beat coming from "Youths Dem Cold" ( video ) adds a nice summer vibe to the vocals. Lil' Wayne [...]

No matter how hard I try, I just can't get into Girl Talk . There is something to be said about combining and crossing genres in incredibly swift increments of time, but listening to Night Ripper makes me feel like I'm being tested for ADD . I believe that someone like Girl Talk needs to exist in order to expand the parameters of Djing, but I'll listen to The Glitch Mob if I want to hear someone to cross genres. This team from Los Angeles melts [...]

And welcome to the post where I disclose the best and most exciting dance music I have heard all year. And I fully understand that this is not going to be everyone's cup of tea and that any claim to have discovered the best of anything at any time is fraught with danger and division, but nonetheless here 'tis: The Glitch Mob . Who also hold the title of being the best/only artist I have ever discovered in a shoe store. But there I was, four odd weeks ago, reclining casually as the shop [...]
