On last night's episode of Conan , Nas served as musical guest. He brought a live band and soul singer Anthony Hamilton with him for the sincere and intense song "World's An Addiction" and further solidified the fact that he's become one of our more dependable late-night TV performers. It would appear that the latest single of Nas'  Life is Good is the Anthony Hamilton-featured "World's an Addiction". Either that or dude's just deciding to perform this somber tune for no reason other than to, you know,  perform it . Whatever the case, Nas and Hamilton took the  Conan stage last night with a live band to run through the track, which just might leave you playing through  Life is Good once it's all over.

On Conan , Nas dipped back into Life Is Good with a special performance of "World's An Addiction" with Anthony Hamilton. One of those performances where the message and the words have such impact that you don't need some flashy stage show. Just one mic (well, two), one MC, and one stage.

Longtime friends and collaborators Nas and Lauryn Hill made their stop in the Bay Area to a sold-out crowd. Although their careers have taken dramatically different paths since their epic 1996 collaboration on "If I Ruled The World," the 2 proved they can still rip a live show.

Hip hop legends Nas and Lauryn Hill brought the Fox Theater to life on Monday night. An invisible force pulled the eager crowd towards the stage, squeezing them tightly together. As the lights dimmed, fans had no idea what they were in store for: two of the greatest 902s hip hop acts coming back to shine. Nas took control of the stage first with a burst of powerful energy. I was out with a friend recently who asked what I thought of the newest Nas album. I hadn’t listened to it yet, but I said, though, that I loved Illmatic and should probably give it a chance. He laughed, reminded me that Illmatic came out in 1994 and asked if I had been listening to the new EL-P , another one he really loved. Nope, that one slipped my notice too. Nas and Lauryn Hill hit the Congress on Wednesday.  The show was high energy, with a packed Congress turned into a large house party early, thanks to a warm up set from DJ Green Lantern.  Nas took the stage with a live band and it sounded amazing.
