It's time, again, for me to post a number of miscellaneous tunes that have slipped through the pelski net over the last month or two. We've got growling electro, big house beats, some thumping brea kbeat, one bassline remix, a couple of minimal flavours and even a small slice of reggae-infused pop, just in time for the summer. Pelski highly recommends them all: The band currently holding the most outlandish name is London's Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs. Their tunes are as quirky as their name. I posted their Foreign Beggers [...]

Ok, so this post got taken down and i don't know why. I can't work out which tracks there's a problem with... So if you want to download the tracks, get over to our Facebook Fan Page and check out the links. Or check our Twitter . Beats of this variety have been sending us all a little crazy lately... I've always said i'm a hater of minimal, but this new wave might be turning me for the better. There's been [...]

I got onto this via Asian Dan . It's something you blog readers wouldn't normally listen to - electronically manipulated classical music. Choral conductor Laurence Equilbey asked French electronic producer Para One to remake his choice of classical masterpieces. What results is something absolutely breathtaking. Para One - Passion Para One - Requiem Fragment Now, I was in a pretty dark mood this morning, and when you're scouring the internet for new music, it's a very interesting [...]

Beats of this variety have been sending us all a little crazy lately... I've always said i'm a hater of minimal, but this new wave might be turning me for the better. There's been the odd exception to the rule with liking some of this stuff throughout the years, and it seems like that hint of radness is finally starting to make a bit more sense... What's starting to push this sound forward is a kinda hype take on things - as you mighta realised we're all about hype music flowing thru tracks here. We try to put it in [...]

A couple Funky bits I've been feeling this morning. First up, Crazy Cousinz flip to the heavily played Funky Anthem that hit stores earlier in the year. Some wicked bad Xylophone arpeggios here creating red hot 2AM heat in the dance. Crazy Cousinz - Inflation N.B Funky , highly effective at pushing air and shaking butts with some dark and deadly subs.. Just a right amount of android funk to lean this tropical banger more on the side of the Predator than the Lion King. [...]

Here for your listening pleasure is the second installment of Trash's new monthly feature entitled "Trash In the Bassment." This mix is recorded once a month by yours truly ( The Crooked Clef ), in a live one-take fashion. The songs chosen on the mix are a collection of songs I've downloaded from fellow blogs, songs written about here on Trash Menagerie, and songs I've purchased through out the month. The feature is designed to put what is a growing bombardment of internet-related music into the context of a mix, while highlighting a wide mixture of music from across the [...]
