Since last summer, our Amrit Singh has been putting together an independent short film called Dosa Hunt , with Das Racist's Himanshu Suri and Ashok Kondabolu, Vampire Weekend's Rostam Batmanglij, Yeasayer's Anand Wilder, Neon Indian's Alan Palomo, and NYC jazz stalwart Vijay Iyer. It chronicles a day spent by the group in pursuit of NYC's finest version of South Indian staple dish, dosa. They roll deep in the Dosa Van, traveling throughout the boroughs to sample various takes on the dish.
