Lemonade has premiered their new single, “Neptune”, which brings to mind dark and hazy Summer nights in Miami. Sunset-soaked synths, and an overall state of serenity compliment this spectacular experimental R&B track. Actually, this is quite sexy. This off the band’s new record, Diver, which will be out later this Spring.

The mysterious New York based producer RAJA is back with another round of creative treats in his latest edit of Clipse's "Hot". This was definitely a standout on the Neptunes Presents: The Clones LP and RAJA dug it up, for trippy rework. After several weeks of campaigning both mp3 leaks and videos, the Brooklyn by way of Seattle emcee Aaron Cohen finally unveils his long awaited mixtape, Crack. The fourteen track debut includes original production from the likes of Infinite Jeanius and $1Bin as well as freestyles over industry beats from 9th Wonder, DJ Premier, The Neptunes, Ayatollah and more.
Creating an album is hard. Creating your own instruments in insurmountably harder. But Neptune have never been a band to shy away from a challenge. The Boston band take scraps of metal to construct homemade instruments for a very unique sound. Their new album, msg rcvd , will be out on February 9. To support the record, Neptune will be touring. Most of the shows are (unfortunately) in Europe, but New York fans will get their chance to see the band on February 24 at 285 Kent Ave (currently their only scheduled US show). [...]

My new obsession. Yuna is signed to FADER's label, and she's a 25 year old Malaysian Muslim with influences including No Doubt, The Cranberries and Fiona Apple, amongst others.
