by Another Form of Relief

It's June, so it must mean it's time for the obligatory Indietracks compilation album. Sadly this year it won't be released on CD in an attempt to reduce costs, meaning you'll have to burn your own discs for the long drive up. On the other hand, as it's a download only, you can pay whatever you like for it with all proceeds going to the lovely Midland Railway Centre . Every year they put up with us descending on them, so it's nice to be able to give them a little something back. [...]

by Another Form of Relief

A little late out of the blocks on this one as BUSINESS has been getting in the way of important things like indiepop, but no matter. The first Indietracks bands have been announced! Who Jeffrey Lewis and The Hidden Cameras have both been announced as headliners. Also added to the bill are Math and Physics Club , Zipper , The Garlands , The Sweet Nothings , The Wendy Darlings , Next Time Passions and Very Truly Yours [...]

by Swan Fungus

Nothing important to speak of today. I saw that fucking safecount pop-up ad again today, so I've written several angry e-mails to both the Adify Corporation and the MOG Music Network in the hopes that one of them will confess to ruining your recent visits to this website. I apologize again for any inconvenience these annoying ads have caused you, and hope they will not deter you from coming back in the future. If I have to suck it up and cancel my advertising accounts (which will result in me losing some much-needed income) I'll do it, if only to [...]

Next Time Passions - Not Here Anymore

by Shelflife Records

In the 90s, I was crazy in love for anything "This Happy Feeling," a Greek indie pop label that released records by Next Time Passions , One Night Suzan , Kissamatic Lovebubbles and The Crooner . These bands all had some obvious Sarah Records envy, but to me still managed to hold their own. Shelflife was involved early on trying to expose these bands to the world (working with The Crooner and releasing a number of the others on Shelflife comps).
