This is great. Most Nhar productions are very deep house/tech but this new track of his is really coming from another place. It's driving and acidic at times, yet there's a rawness throughout the whole thing. From just a little after half way this track builds to a blissfully balearic climax, at which point that oh-so-familiar LCD/DFA drum beat finally breaks through and comes into its own in pretty spectacular fashion (around 6:40). Interestingly, the deep background and style of Nhar does wonders for a track which is really quite the opposite. Listen loud. [...]
Every now and then you just gotta switch it up and toss in the interlude. This is one of those times because it kind of feels like a slow day. Maybe its just me.
