Check out the always awesome Nick Cave and Neko Case's cover of The Zombies classic tune "She's Not There" from the upcoming True Blood Vol. 3 soundtrack. Although not my favorite version of the cover, mine being Malcolm McLaren's [RIP] " About Her " from the Kill Bill soundtrack, it's still a great take on the original. KCRW DJ Gary Calamar, who serves as music supervisor for the vampire comedy (did you think it was a drama?), commissioned Lafayette rocker CC Adcock to come up with the "more dark and sexy" swamp pop arrangement, then decided upon a Case/Cave collaboration while looking through the C section of his music collection (really).
