We recently told you about The Strokes ' Nikolai Fraiture 's new band Nickel Eye . The band has yet to officially release any tracks or play live yet, however two songs by the band which were played on Mark Ronson's East Village radio show have apparently been ripped and are now appearing on several file sharing sites as well as on YouTube . Just when we thought The Strokes were finally getting ready to begin work on their much-awaited fourth studio album, comes news that not one, but two members of the New York based band are currently engaged in new music activities. While between Albert Hammond's Jr.'s flourishing solo career and Julian Casablancas work with Pharrell Williams and Santogold, the term "side-project" is nothing new when it comes to the Strokes.
