Listening to her slinky, sultry voice, it's difficult to believe that Nicole Simone hasn't been snatched up by a major label yet. But this immense talent is unsigned and truly independent. I'd originally intended to include this song in one of my "Mp3 Menagerie" posts, but it's great enough to warrant its own entry. I haven't heard Nicole's entire self-titled, self-produced EP yet, but - if "Melt" is any indication - this girl is going to be a huge star.
