NiT GriT throws up something more melodic than his usual and I like it all the more. "Purple" has that relaxing viibe to it, but in an abstract kind of way that I'd expect from a bass hound like GriT. Wobble Wednesday is here again! Welcome back! If you're not already familiar with Wobble Wednesday, that's okay - we want to make your first time amazing. Most of what you'll be listening to here is often referred to as dubstep, but can encompass all genres of heavy bass music. To quote bass music artist ill.Gates, "When you look at what some of the bigger dubstep guys are doing now, they'll play some dubstep, they'll play some drumstep, they'll plays some breaks, some drum and bass, and maybe some dance hall." That's what Wobble Wednesday is all about. [...]

Here is another sick tune from NiT GriT. Its got very cool synth and vocals layered throughout the song, giving it a very unique sound that is different from his other stuff but equally as good. I Made This For You by NiT GriT

School has finally officially started for me, and I am NOT happy. The TCT took a bit of a hiatus this summer, with me being away from internet for so long, and all. HOWEVER, it is back and kicking! Check out these few songs and get through the week in one piece. New [...]

Many of you know Danny Beall as Nit Grit , and if you follow Sample This enough you'll also know his softer side as Sloth Logic . Recently, however, I found out he has yet ANOTHER side project titled Lay Awake . Like Sloth Logic, Lay Awake takes soothing guitar and piano riffs and adds a jazz beat and some synths to create the relaxing style of electronic music that fans of artists like Of Porcelain and Emancipator can really get into. I'll let the music speak for itself on this one, though. [...]

Click image to download track Sounds like: NiT GriT, MartyParty "Minnesota - Breathe" What's so good? I'm starting to get tired of electronic songs with a "drop." The drop is typically not as exciting as I tend to hope it will be, and a lot of basslines in remixes don't really mesh with the original track. Of course, that's just one guy's opinion, but when [...]

Still recovering from Riot (Orlando), my one night stand in Miami, and not to mention Boys Noize finishing me off in DC... Hopefully, things will be back to normal tomorrow but in the meantime here's an emergency vitamin pack to help you recover... I've been playing this one out a bunch, not sure why I haven't posted Make sure to keep an eye out for these boys ... The Loops Of Fury - I Need Thoughts? Pretty straight forward remix... [...]

An interesting combination here of dubstep and soul pioneer Marvin Gaye. This classic song is transformed with some great synth and womps while it keeps the smooth vocals of Mr. Gaye. Download: Marvin Gaye - "Whats Going On" Nit Grit Remix

Classic vocal samples mixed with modern glitches and loads of bass is just a perfect combo. Today I've got the latest remix from the very talented Nit Grit, and this time he takes Marvin Gaye's 'What's Goin On' and gives it an epic reworking. Don't forget the also epic Marvin Gaye Heard It Through the Grapevine remix done by Ashes. Wel this one starts out chill, drops pretty heavy, and has an incredibly well produced and mastered sound to it. It's got a smooth yet BANGER fee, sounding pretty unique. Turn up the bass, enjoy! [...]

So the story goes: one man wanted pizza, the other wanted to party. Three tracks, each brilliantly produced, just waiting to be cut and mixed to aid in the creation of phenomenal DJ sets across the globe. You may remember when Proto wrote up a primer for Pizza Party , but now the release is available in full on NiT GriT's Bandcamp page . "Euthanizing a Dream" is the latest heater from San Jose artist NiT GriT. The track is very very melodic and will likely have heads of even the filthiest of dubstep vibing along. Into it. NiT GriT - Euthanizing a Dream NiT GriT : ( Soundcloud ) ( Bandcamp ) ( Facebook ) Rating: 8.1
Bass bass bass! Nothin' like some banging dubstep. All of you lovers of the low end will get a nice serving with these tracks. Nero has added some wobbles to their repitoire and it's awesome. Wick-it the Instigator is always one to pull through with great remixes and this is no exception. I've included a brand new NiT GriT track in the bonus and it's definitely one you don't want to miss. Nero- The Way You Make Me Feel [...]
