I’ve got a whole slew of fresh tunes for you this week. In my search for a comprehensive and diverse Wobble Wednesday , I noticed that we lacked a chill side. That’s why I hope you enjoy the new category: Future Beats . Don’t worry, your weekly dose of filth and freshness hasn’t been compromised. I just want to appeal to everybody’s tastes and interests. Be sure to check out the "White Noise" feat. AlunaGeorge track from Disclosure , it’s my favorite of the week. I would also like to extend a welcoming hand to [...]

Dubstep wonderboy Spag Heddy , takes a hit at one of my favorite Nobody Beats The Drum tracks of all time. Blood On My Hands (Spag Heddy remix) // download Original released back in 2011 by Basserk including remixes by Kypski, Mason & Electrophants.

Junior Sanchez offers up a little of everything on this exclusive mix for us. “Stuff that I dig, not just what’s ‘cool,’ but what I like,” he tells us. Basically, it encompasses a lot of styles and tracks that he’s currently playing out at the moment. “I try to expose a lot of great music when I play out across all platforms to every different type of audience.” Of course all staying within EDM—be it deep, techno, house, progressive, indie…he also threw a classic jam in the mix that hasn’t been heard or really exposed in awhile—that would be “Activator” [...]

Same procedure as every monday, expect more than seven hours full of amazing mixtapes provided by the likes of Phon.o, Bart B More, Turbo Turbo, Gesaffelstein and many many more. As I'm writing these lines, BS1 just dropped this line one Twitter " Genres = restrictions. Just express yourself as you want! " and " Don't believe in genres ", truly wise words. Enjoy. ► ♫ PHON.O DJ-Mix for NTS Radio Tracklist: [[Visit blog to check out this spoiler]] [...]

I started reading "19843 this week. I believe that I read the Cliff's Notes version back in high school, but never gave the book it's proper due. I bring this up because of the content matter and the amount of relevance the subject has with today's current events. Pussy Riot has been struck down with a two year sentence for " inciting hooliganism ." Freedom of speech is a luxury in many parts of the world and our civil liberties are constantly being infringed upon. The Patriot Act has made it possible for "Big Brother" watch our [...]

Nobody Beats The Drum are in the front line of Dutch electronic dance music. While Sjam and Jori produce all the music Rogier produces all the video projections. Together, the trio delivers a uniquely unforgettable live audio/visual experience that has brought them high praise from trendsetters such as Kanye West, Vice Magazine and more. To fully appreciate their fusion of breaks, electro, hip-hop and every other form of music that whips a crowd up into a sweaty, writhing heap of body parts, it's best to see NBTD live where the pounding music is enhanced by their one of a [...]

![Nobody Beats The Drum – Natural Thing EP (Incl. The Subs Remix) [Basserk]](http://cdn.elbo.ws/posts/4417807_lg.jpg)
Nobody Beats The Drum supply quality big room house that tip toes on a fine line between what’s attractive to the stadium ‘hand thumping’ heads whilst remaining cool enough to keep the underground floors frosty. Natural Thing their newest song is a strange, Xylophone exuding track with big floor rumbling drums and on point breakdowns to spare; no surprises why this has been a mighty weapon on their US tour. Treating us not just to the original but a remix from The Subs , which is so heavy it’ll literally leave professional weightlifters in despair and [...]

SalaciousSound is covering this year’s Bluesfest in Ottawa and photographed artists mainly playing on the Electro Stage and River Stage. Due to artist permissions so far we have been unable to photograph any of the Main Stage artists. Nevertheless, it’s been a great festival so far. Artists we were fortunate enough to have photography pit access to included: Snoop Dogg, A$AP Rocky, The Melvins, Grace Jones and the Nocturnals, Awolnation, Mister Parker, Dragonette, Paul Oakenfold, Sleigh Bells, Tommy Lee, Nobody Beats The Drum, Mustard Pimp, MSTKRFT and Chromeo. So far the surprise find of the festival [...]

As a consummate city dweller, my second annual trip to Electric Forest was shrouded in equal parts fear and hysteria. City festivals have their major perks, like the ability to eat lunch in a nice urban deli prior to entry, opportunities to explore the area's cultural attractions, and the availability of a nice shower to wash away the day's vices. All activities that are easy to take for granted until Saturday afternoon beneath the harsh sun as you eagerly wait for Big Freedia to bounce across EF's Tripolee Stage. Sure, hammocks are abundant within the ornately-lit Sherwood Forest, [...]

Governors Ball is about as straightforward as a festival can get: two stages, no overlapping sets, and an even split between electronic music on Saturday and alternative rock on Sunday. For its second installation, Gov. Ball relocated to Randalls Island on the upper end of Manhattan from its namesake outpost at the lower, which didn’t affect much in the way of attendance but unfortunately added more of a commute to the festival’s official afterparties at the Brooklyn Bowl (#firstworldproblems). Other than that, however, there was enough space, water, bathrooms, lawn games, and food trucks to keep fussy New Yorkers [...]
