I don't know if I've ever posted a request for song ideas before. But I am now. I want to do a mix of ambient songs by non-ambient artists. My perfect example of this is "Silent Sorrow in Empty Boats" by Genesis. I've used in mixes in the past and I'd like to find other songs that fit the criteria. After just premiering the video on 106 & park, Rockie Fresh is here with his "Nobody" video, which as expected, is truly an innovative step in the realm of music videos. Directed by Nem Perez , the video features a dope use of 3D graphics as well as Rockie's staple ride, a Delorean. Electric Highway is due January 29th, 2013 and is definitely sounding like Rockie evolved effortlessly with this project. Only direction to go is up.

Yesterday, Los Angeles-based producer Nobody got me all hype and whatnot over his new single, " Rex ", a bass-y banger that made me want to stomp all over the place like a dinosaur. That track's B-side, "Swagnostic", is making me feel those same absurd emotions, though it's also inducing lulz with that title. But don't get it twisted, this song ain't no joke (no Eric B & Rakim); it's just another chance for you to melt someone's brains with b-a-s-s.

Holy. Hell. This new single, "Rex", from West Coast producer/DJ Nobody is the absolute definition of a banger. I'd comment on the low end being heavier than, well, a fucking T. Rex, but I'd be shortchanging everything else here. For comparison's sake, imagine if TNGHT dropped a new single, put the bass to fucking 11 and then made it sound like a fucking helicopter.
