On top of the re-issue of last year's Nobunny Loves You , it seems that the Bunny is on a roll with this killer 7" that cements his rank in the late garage resurgence. Nobunny - Give It To Me 7" The A-side is pure Nobunny, mixing scrappy ramones garage-punk with a certain dose of 50's blue eyed soul, but its on the flip that he really shines. Sentiments like "Motorhead with Me" don't just fall [...]
"It's like if the dude from Leaving Las Vegas had a blog." - Tom, blurbing @APMike's late-stage Twitterspace "If I find an Internet café, and I have an extra little Abe Lincoln sheet of paper in my pocket, I'll fold that into the feeder and jump onto the Mindweb and lay a couple of droppings out there, sure." - Travis Edgkin, confirming that he frequently posts on message boards "I dig the claws in deep, but I dig 'em in gently." - Travis Edgkin, revealing the way he handles denizens of his [...]

Nobunny "Love Visions" reissue This is your chance to finally own the record that the guy who washes dishes at your night job has been raving about. It's a Half Man, Half Rabbit, Half Nude, lo-fi, bubblegum garage rock soundtrack to sweethearts holding hands and kissing on a long walk home to a rock and roll orgy presided over by Little Richard, Motormouth Maybelle, Alan Freed and Joey Ramone. If you aren't instantly in love the second this hits your stereo, I'm afraid there isn't a fun bone in your body or a human [...]
Who doesn't love bunnies?!? Bunnies are great, especially when they rock. Visit Nobunny here. On tour in the states now. Not to be confused with Unbunny . On tour in Europe in september.

NOBUNNY-"Love Visions" Tucson's masked Nobunny recently released a vinyl only LP of amazing punked up 1950s tunes. Actually, each song is an original composition, but each song borrows verses, refrains, choruses and chords from old-time classics. Much like The Ramones. Indeed, the album cover, featuring the artist (or someone with a bunny mask) standing in front of a brick wall is an obvious homage to the kings of American punk. This is easily the most fun I've had listening to an album this year. Whether it's the opening [...]

It's unfortunate that Nobunny doesn't mulitply as quickly as other rabbits, cos the world would be a helluva lot cooler if he did. While the bunny trail he opts to travel has been hopped down numerous times before, the experience is extremely enjoyable nonethless. His album, Love Visions (which is available via Bubbledumb Records ), is the vinyl equivalent of a Zoloft prescription. Dr. Kip! is making house calls this evening and he's guaranteeing that repeated listens of "I Am A Girlfriend" will persuade even the angstiest cutter to push the blade aside [...]

In case you missed the boat on yesterday's crucial ass-kissing of the Okmoniks and No Bunny... you can check it out right Other wise... dig into these tracks and this animated No Bunny video and get your mouth watering! [yt] http://www.youtube.com/v/G3W0I mmsn3s[/yt] This post has: 2 MP3's

Nobunny 's "Boneyard" is the stuff that your fuzzed-out new-wave, garage rock, etc etc dreams are made of. A naive surf riff, a drum-machine that sounds like it's about to break any second, and an insane, bunny masked dude from Oakland with a vocal drenched in tremolo effects. Irresistible. If you're in Philly catch him perform live tomorrow at the M Room, with the raucus Love City (they have been known to torch a guitar or two on stage). Here's what you can expect from NoBunny: Youtube Link [...]

Not that it ever went away and maybe until recently I haven't been looking hard enough but the excellent marriage of lo-fi pop and garage seems to be in fine form this year. One case for both these points is the latest from Oakland's (via Touscon, et.al) Nobunny, entitled Love Visions . NB's been tearing at the fringes of scenes for years but it seems that with the popularity of gutter fuzzed punk ala In The Red/Siltbreeze and the rest of the nth wave of garage has brought deserving attention down upon the unshackled bubblegum scratch of Mr. Bunny's [...]

This show is going to be incredible. I've literally been looking forward to this shit for weeks. To top it all off... most people have off the next day.. so this is bound to get crazy. Okmoniks are from Tuscon, AZ and blast out raw and poppy little garage seeds that get planted in your head and quickly take root, grow beyond their means and explode through the top of your skull. Can we please get more girls in bands??? No Bunny 's (Oakland, CA) stuff is [...]
