Thomas Azier recently released these visuals for his track "Angelene" off of the Hylas 002 EP. I'm so glad that they chose to use the blue tinted filter throughout the majority of the video. It gives off that retro, neo-noir feel that comes out of listening to Thomas' music. It's dark and mysterious, yet still very highlighted and vibrant. We're very excited to learn that big names Groove Armada, Noir , and Eats Everything are coming out with remixes and reworks of the late 90s/early 00s disco-dub dance band Chicken Lips' huge 2003 hit, "He Not In." Fabio Giannelli (the most wonderfully Italian sounding name we’ve heard!) has spent the last few years honing his sound to create something deep and meaningful, and it shows in his considered and creative take on techno and house. His totally babein track ‘Maintain’ of last year, has been given a remix by Get Physical label mates M.A.N.D.Y. who do a spacey atmospheric take on it with a seriously good drop. Northern boys ReKreation have just released jumpy house number ‘Control’ on Noir Music . The beat, vocals and grooving melody ooze that wonderful house/garage vibe we love so much.
