I had a pal slide this my way last night claiming it was "soothing". I mean, ok.. I can see some of it. But I suspect this guy maybe listens to happy hardcore or mumblecore or screamo. Wobble Wednesday is here again! Welcome back! If you're not already familiar with Wobble Wednesday, that's okay - we want to make your first time amazing. Most of what you'll be listening to here is often referred to as dubstep, but can encompass all genres of heavy bass music. To quote bass music artist ill.Gates, "When you look at what some of the bigger dubstep guys are doing now, they'll play some dubstep, they'll play some drumstep, they'll plays some breaks, some drum and bass, and maybe some dance hall." That's what Wobble Wednesday is all about. [...]

I know quite a few long time Ego Thieves fans have seen this one before, but it has to get posted for EgoThieves 4.0! This video literally gives us goose bumps every time we see it; the way the music is in time with the CG makes it one of the best music videos in the last 5 years! Also, KRS One...Do we need to say any more? Noisia are doing big things, make sure you like them on Facebook (you can see the making of for the Exodus video!) and buy their albums here!
On today's episode of the Rock it Out! Blog, my brother, DJ JoJoe, and I review the new Korn album, The Path Of Totality , from Roadrunner Records. The album is a mix of metal and dubstep music and incorporates electronic artists like Skrillex, Datsik, Downlink, Noisia and more. The album, to me, doesn't work. Primarily because Korn is a band that, only last year, released an album that they promoted as getting back to their roots. Now they've released an album that, while some tracks stand out, falls flat due to the fact that many [...]

Some top quality dubstep (and drumstep) for your ears. First is from SOFI with her latest EP 'Locked & Loaded Part 22 featuring the almighty Noisia! The EP is out now on Mau5trap! Next is a guy from Bristol called Cottonmouth , with his official remix of N.O.A.H's Yemanja! xKore's 'Lazershark' EP came out recently too, and 'Fire' has to be my favourite track. You can get the EP here . Another recent EP out on the 5th was Xilent's ' Skyward EP ', I chose 'For Once' from it because I love everything [...]

Right. This is going to be one of the posts where it may appear to be more of a rant rather than a write-up because quite frankly, I am a little fed up of the whole media hypocrisy and the unknowledgable lot stating this, that and the other. The latest album from nu-metal giants @Korn. Yes, nu-metal giants. The band that took metal-rock music down a new route by adding further electronic effects plus extra dimensions production wise to their work and into their music. I would say it began with 'Follow [...]

Sydney's Royalston is a fairly new face on the electronic music scene – at least in the UK – but he's climbing the ranks at an impressive rate, with a string of extremely strong releases on various labels. "Cerulean Blue" is his debut EP on Med School, and it's as high quality as you'd expect from this skilled producer. Dark, technical and intelligently dirty, it should tick all the boxes for discerning screwfaces everywhere. Read more..

![[DnB] NOISIA – Could This Be](http://cdn.elbo.ws/posts/3883092_lg.jpg)
NOISIA , winners of Beatport's Drum & Bass artist of the year awards in '09 and '10, are back at it. Their newest effort has already climbed to the top of Beatport's D&B chart. With "Could This Be" the trio create a perfect harmony between haunting synths, unexpected tempo changes and an absolutely frenetic D&B drumline. With two solid releases on mau5trap in the past couple of months, I'm excited to hear what else NOISIA have in store for us. Noisia - Could This Be by NOISIA
