On February 5, Indianapolis will host Super Bowl XLVI — the 46th iteration of America's biggest game. Millions of fans will gather 'round the television set with seven-layer dip and cold drinks to watch an epic match-up of teams, the year's funniest and most expensive commercials and most importantly — as far as we're concerned — Madonna's Super Bowl halftime show . The newly minted Interscope singer has been on her grind lately, promoting her Golden Globe-winning directorial debut W.E. , unleashing a super sexy fragrance line [...]
Video: Justin Timberlake, JC Chasez, Ryan Gosling, and some other dude (sorry!) kill Jodeci on "The Mickey Mouse Club". All your memes begin right here. You're welcome. Hey girl. Hat tip to @mkbkrthebkmkr for sending this to us.

Christmas, Three Years Ago, I started this blog. Every year of my life has been a blessing on many levels. Not so much on the blog front, but definitely on the personal front. This blog was made to help promote new music and a venting board for myself. It has done both and also been super time consuming. I love it at times and I also want to give it all up five minutes later. But I don't, not yet, tee-hee. This years Christmas Compilation - Culture PopMas 2011, is probably on my favorites from the last three years. As [...]

the JC CHASEZ crashes all your dreams of the NSYNC ever re-uniting. says it will never happen. and the way people wank over this band, you'd think they were the LED ZEPPELIN. no1curr. ps i'd still sit on the JC 's face btw. wotyougot

We may be counting down the moments till we can hop on the Turkey Train to Gravytown this Thursday, but that doesn't mean we've lost sight our season of giving video project, At Your Request . And what better way to get this Thanksgiving week popping than by fulfilling another Twitter-submitted song demand. Below enjoy this throwback a time when boy bands still walked ( and ruled ) the earth, and when it seemed Justin Timberlake would make music forever . Today's request comes by way [...]

[Audio clip: view full post to listen] Blake "The Prince Of Techno" Baxter every now and then has some house up his sleeve. This is a track hidden at the end of his tech slamming album "The H-Factor" and its just about as classic as a house tune can be with its retro organ stabs and building rhythm section. A brutal soul-queen style vocal is added on top from a mysterious singer called Makreta Birdsong. I have yet not been able to figure out who that might be she [...]
Wilson Phillips' Chynna Phillips will cha-cha her way onto Season 13 of Dancing With The Stars , and the "Hold On" singer expressed her excitement to put her former ballet training to work with the Venetian Waltz. (She also hopes her recent movie cameo in Bridesmaids will encourage viewers pick up the phone to vote this Fall.) We're stoked to see the 43-year-old join the ranks of 12 seasons worth of pop star contestants when the competition kicks off September 19. Dance down memory lane as we remember some of [...]

Omdat [...]

Was it because I sold my soul, packed my duffle bag and went to South Beach to see LeBron get a ring? Was it because I convince myself every year the Cowboys will win the Super Bowl? Was it because I cried Rick Ross tears of joy when the Celtics and Steelers lost? Was it because I took for granted the NBA and NFL would somehow figure out this STD of a labor situation? Was it because I helped start the Dwight Howard to LA rumors not giving a damn how the city of Orlando felt? [...]

Move over, ladies and solo gents — the boys are back in town. Or so former 'N Sync member Lance Bass is hoping, since he's putting together a new reality show in which newly-created boy bands vie for a shot at, um, relevance in a world that has long since moved past the 90's and early 00's obsession with four or five dreamy dudes crooning their hearts out sans instruments. (At least he's not trying to act again.) So, in addition to the occasionally glam Bass, which of your favorite Tiger Beat poster pull-outs [...]

Lance Bass just sold six reality shows , including one to VH1 . The former *NSync member is putting together a reality show with Backstreet Boy A.J. McLean , New Edition frontman Bobby Brown and New Kid on the Block Joey McIntyre to form the country's hottest new boy band . Bass revealed to Vulture , "It's a really great music show, starring all your favorite boy bands. It's going [...]
The preliminary numbers are in for the sales of Lady Gaga's new album "Born This Way" and according to Hits Daily Double, the princess of pop's latest album sold 1,110,420 copies in its first week of release. That's definitely the biggest album debut in quite a while. The last album I can think of in recent memory to even come close to that was Taylor Swift's "Speak Now" which sold 1,047,000 copies. And I'd venture to say that it's the biggest release from an artist since NSYNC put out "No Strings Attached" which sold 2.42 million in its first week. [...]
Friendly Fires have released " Blue Cassette " and " Hawaiian Air " from their forthcoming full-length Pala , out May 25 via XL Recordings. For inspiration, the band looked to 'N Sync and New Kids on the Block, telling NME they'd rather listen to Justin Timberlake than Morrissey. Friendly Fires play London tonight, with several other U.K. dates and a few U.S. stops throughout May. Last time the Brits stopped by our studio they explained the differences between scenes on each side of the pond. [...]
When you're a part of a boy or girl group it's important for people to know you're in a musical collective, even when you're not performing on stage. The key to making this statement: matching outfits — in fact, the crazier the better! So we've rounded up our favorite coordinating ensembles from some of pop's most beloved music crews. Click through to revisit some of music's most hilarious fashion mistakes and keep in mind that the members agreed to wear these clothes (or were forced to Beyonce's mom Tina).

After four years together, former NSYNC -er Justin Timberlake and actress Jessica Biel have broken up. According to 'sources close to the couple' the split was amicable and mutual. But I smell BULLSH!T! Apparently, the pair have been on shaky ground since Jessica threw Justin a surprise birthday party for him in January. At the party, Jessica gave a mushy-mushy speech to honor her man. His response to the toast? 'Yeah bitches!' HE SAID [...]

By taking the 'Boy Band' factor out of these songs, the covers required a new level of masculinity. We find out whether they're teen idol-approved.

While they may say that baseball is the American pastime, we're going to go ahead and submit that football is the true sport of God-fearing Americans everywhere. Sure, baseball has spitting, the 7th inning stretch, and nachos, but there's something about football that transcends all that amazing stuff. It could be the increased violence or the neat-o uniforms, but regardless of all that, we'll just assume it has to do with the fact that football has more of the total entertainment package. Plus, football's the only sport that melds so [...]

This is probably my most revealing post, yet. You guys know I'm pretty damn open about everything. So, my confession, my favorite boy band is . . . *N Sync! I don't think this is a surprise; they are probably the greatest boy band ever behind the Backstreet Boys. I remember while in elementary school, if you were a boy, you just weren't allowed to openly sing along to *N Sync. The girls loved it but, as a boy, you just weren't a man if you listened to them. Well, I'm much older, wiser, and appreciative of all [...]
