Nudge Back in February, Innervisions Germany released the Nudge EP by Helsinki's Lil Tony aka Toni Rantanen. But up until only recently did I stumble across this analog giant. Nudge gives us haunting panned melodies over stuttering 808 kicks, sort of reminds me of Mic Newman's Alter-ego Fantastic Man. A strange and wonderful record if I have ever heard one. New Nudge - "Burns Blue" Nudge started out in Portland, but the group's central player Brian Foote currently lives in Los Angeles, so his fuzzy extended psychedelic constructions are emerging from a sunnier place, even if they sound just as gray.
