The pre-release chitter around the new Nurses album has increased to a dull roar, and fittingly, here's the brand-new video for "Fever Dreams," which was filmed and edited by Nurses themselves. (Suck it, McG!) It's full of abstract images and Aaron Chapman's face painted various shades, at times bringing to mind the opening credits of The Rocky Horror Picture Show . Nurses - Fever Dreams
Nurses are another band from Portland, Oregan who are making their mark on the indie scene. After the 2009 release Apple's Acre, recorded on a Mac using the internal microphone and modest software, they are set to deliver Dracula on September 20. Made up of Aaron Chapman, James Mitchell, and John Bowers, the trio retreated away from society to immerse themselves in the recording and song-writing process over last winter.
