The Indiecision Five at 5 is our attempt at sharing our musical tastes with you, and showcasing music from around the world. Each weekday at 5pm sharp, one NH7 writer or staffer will bring you five songs he/she is listening to on the day. Metal-hardened social media demon Akshay Gite unleashes his five furious tracks upon you. 1. Head with Wings - 'Time Will Never Leave Me Be' Head with Wings' recent release Living With The Loss is full of gentle dark clean guitar melodies combined with vocalist/guitarist Josh [...]
NOW I must confess, much as I'd like to claim to be in the know about up-and-coming bands, I only chose to listen to Six Gallery's debut as it's got a picture of an octopus holding some balloons on the front cover. And I'm very glad that I did. The American group's album Breakthroughs In Modern Art is the sound of a flurry of Minus The Bear-style icy guitar licks cutting through a warm heap of post-hardcore vocal harmonies, and it sounds like it's being done by a guitarist with eight arms, or at least a few extra [...]

Friday Films, the first of February, alliterative heaven. Great new videos from great new London acts follow... King Krule - Octopus Archy Marshall's last video saw him dwell in strange bars and cop a beating. Things are hardly cheerier this time round: chuffing on a rollie, he paces fretfully around a dank bathroom pulsing with red laser light. Something;'s troubling him... hang on, what's that in the tub? ( Original blog on the song ) Click here to view the embedded video. [...]

I spotted this on Pinterest and absolutely love it. Does anyone out there know who it's by?
King Krule released a double A-side single 'Rock Bottom' and 'Octopus' last year. It now gets some visuals for 'Octopus'. [[ This is a content summary only. Visit my website for full links, other content, and more! ]]
It's been quite a while since I first posted "Octopus" , but King Krule finally came through with a video! I guess good things do come to those who wait eh? "Octopus" is out now on iTunes UK / iTunes US via Rinse. Video directed by Paraic and Michael Morrissey. Previously: King Krule - Rock Bottom (Video)
Back in September King Krule dropped "Octopus" , the second track from a double A-side single with "Rock Bottom" , released via Rinse, and now the barebones London producer has released the Paraic and Michael Morrissey-directed video for "Octopus" . The dimly-lit but colourful bathroom video finds Archy Marshall dressed to the nines and walking around amongst the urinals and sinks, interspersed with strobes and the occasional cigarette, presumably this is how he "gets the ladies". It's worked for me on occasion. [...]
King Krule nous dévoile le clip du titre Octopus , extrait de son dernier single Rock Bottom sorti courant 2012. Une vidéo réalisée par le duo Michael Morrissey et Paraic , dans un style sombre et mystérieux.

18 year old South Londoner King Krule returns with an excellent new video for his single Octopus . I'll be honest, normally when Noisey premiere a video it'll typically involve their standard of recycled video clips but a job well done here reflecting the stretched out and reverb drenched track perfectly. You can buy the single here . f: www.facebook.com/pages/King-Kr ule

In his new video for " Octopus " King Krule enters the visual uncomfortable world of Gaspar Noé. Archy Marshall is the uninvited reaper to a suicide. He obvsly takes the situation with clean sobriety. Directed by Paraic and Michael Morrissey.

When I'm feeling especially sassy and downtrodden, I turn to the music of England, where the people are best known for their stylish rain jumpers and fancy tea dippers. But the tunes they make tend to be deliciously moody and similarly sassy; Exhibit A being King Krule, and his song "Rok Bah'um", translated to North American [...]
18 year old Archy Marshall from London is a genius. Already commonly known as Zoo Kid, Archy first appeared at a festival in France 2011 under his new moniker King Krule (name inspired by King R. Cool from Donkey Kong Country) shortly after releasing his first official EP 'True Panther' on House Anxiety Records. The [...]

When Patton Oswalt asked the internet to help him build a Doc Ock costume for Halloween, Adam Savage came up with an idea for a design that would be quick to make and easy to wear. Watch how Adam put this costume together in just four hours with off-the-shelf crafting materials. [...]
Some of you might still remember the post I wrote about young New York rapper 'Wiki' and his crew 'Ratking'. Not so long ago the street rats signed to XL Recordings based in... [[ This is a content summary only. Visit my website for full links, other content, and more! ]]
