Oddisee's debut album, People Hear What They See , drops on June 12th ( pre-order now). As a gift to the fans, Oddisee is releasing an EP full of remixes he's done with k-Os, Bon Iver, and others. The project is entitled Odd Renditions , and will be released as a free download on May 15th. Today he shares this video for his remix of Marvin Gaye's "Ain't That Peculiar". Oddisee kills it. This one of the best records I've heard all week. Enjoy it below.

Just because Oddisee is dropping People Hear What They See on June 12 doesn't mean dude hasn't stayed busy working on other projects. In fact, he's already readied another one that we'll be hearing next Tuesday, May 15(!!). It's a free remix EP called Odd Renditions that'll feature his own takes on joints like Marvin Gaye's "Ain't That Peculiar". In addition to changing up the instrumentation on the tracks, Oddisee's spitting on them, too. Yeah, safe to say we're ridiculously excited for this. Watch the video for "Ain't That Peculiar" below.

So the team at website Nomadic Wax have put together what's probably the most essential piece of viewing of this past week. They were able to get a slew of the DMV's finest together - yU , Raheem Devaughn , Oddisee , Noyeek, Draus, Laelo, and Tabi Bonney - to record a track and shoot a sharp, inspirational video. "Clock's Ticking" is hip-hop at its essence, and you just have to love the beat from Choppy Choppe here. Check out the visuals below.

As if the team of TiRon and Ayomari wasn't strong enough on its own, right? Well, the guys worked with one of our favorites, Oddisee, while creating last year's superb A Sucker For Pumps . The thing is, they left the resulting track, "They Go", off the final cut because - I'm assuming here - it didn't fit into the concept/theme of the album. Ronnie and Ayo link up with the amazing producer, Oddisee, to drop a killer track, They Go. The uptempo beat and live instrumentation in the track will have you playing this one over and over.
