Someone should just give Ok Go the Godlike Geniuses of Video award already. The latest example of their inventiveness in the visual musical form is their new one for 'Needing/Getting'. I'd say the title of this post is pretty accurate today. OK GO, the band that has brought you some of the most creative music videos has returned with a new one for their song "Needing/Getting." The band drives a car around a track, while hitting over one thousand different instruments to play their song. What results is a ridiculously well choreographed music video that is undoubtedly their most daring (and expensive) yet. The song doesn't sound exactly like the version the band recorded in the studio, so I have included that version for your listening pleasure. "Danger! Videoactive" indeed. Oh, look another fancy OK Go music video that is heavily filled with sponsorship. Just kididng, we are so excited about any new innovaitve and creative video from these guys, as no band out there puts out anything better. In this clip, they take a Chevy Sonic and make the car an instrument. The band made up over 1,000 homemade instruments on the track, as the car hits ever single last one. Ok Go es una banda que se hizo famosa, ms que por su msica, por los videos que hace. Se trata de la apuesta visual para el tema Needing/Getting , estreno que coincide con los 10 aos que cumple la banda desd su creacin. Esta vez, las cmaras muestran a la banda interpretando la cancin del vdeo desde un auto. Their video for "Here It Goes Again" won a grammy and set the bar really high for any follow up videos the band might put out... and they've consistently met their goal.
