The rock group paired up with Chevrolet to put out a Super Bowl music video commercial that turned a Chevy Sonic into an impressive instrument. OK Go has always got the coolest music videos. This one, which is for "Needing/Getting" off of their most recent album Of The Blue Color Of The Sky , features the band driving a Chevy (apparently there's a partnership between the two) through the desert. The band's car was modified to have retractable arms that would hit the 1000+ instruments placed within over two miles, playing the song out as they drive through the set course. Ready to have your mind blown.

Il nuovo video degli Ok Go non si può non postarlo. Non certo perchè sia un bel video (l'idea è carina ma è vecchia, e la realizzazione è quasi completamente finta, e si vede) o ancor meno perchè sia una bella canzone (gli OK Go fanno praticamente sempre la stessa canzone), ma per vedere a cosa finiranno per arrivare ( Jack-ass non è lontano). Come già scritto a suo tempo , sono davvero una band che non fa video per promuovere la musica, ma musica per promuovere i video.

This is probably OK Go's most ambitious video to date and you know these guys love to make them some out of this world music videos . Up top you can check out the video for "Needing/Getting" which features the primary color wearing foursome inside of a Chevy Sonic driving around a desert. Seems simple, right? Well wait until you see what the car mixed with the driving skills of frontman Damian Kulash plus musical instruments placed on a specific course can do.

It's may be a bit confusing why OK Go agreed to appear in a Chevy Sonic Super Bowl commercial without one of their own songs playing in the ad — the track featured in the below commercial (with a Chevy Sonic performing "100% real stunts"!) is .fun's "We Are Young" . The Internet has found itself a new ally in its ongoing fight against SOPA and PIPA. As Billboard reports, Trent Reznor, MGMT, The Lonely Island, Nada Surf's Daniel Lorca, and OK Go have all co-signed an open letter to Congress expressing their opposition to the legislation.
