We first talked about the exciting collaboration of Zach De La Rocha and John Theodore as One Day As A Lion earlier this month . Starting today, if you go their Myspace you can hear the first song, "Wild International" from their self-titled five-song E.P. The E.P. will be released this Tuesday via Anti .

As pleased as we all were with Rage's return to performing (and the fact that I get to see them live twice in one year) we started to get a little antsy for some new material. We still don't have any new Rage tracks, but frontman Zack de la Rocha has teamed up with ex-Mars Volta drummer Jon Theodore to form One Day As A Lion . The fuzzed out bass that says constant in the song does not have quite the intensity of RATM, but an interesting track if you are a fan of Zach's vocal stylings.

Nothing too significant to note here from my earlier post here , but Andy from InSound has emailed me to inform me that the EP is now available for preorder, to be released in two weeks. They've also made the One Day As A Lion full album LP available for pre-order, and anyone who does so, will be able to download mp3s of all the album's tracks on 22nd of this month, more than three months before the album's physical release date (October 7th)!
