Le Bain at The Standard will be hosting the official Soulwax afterparty this Wednesday night after their show at Webster Hall. Steve from Soulwax, as One Man Party, will be DJing along with Figo, DJ Musa, and The Dirty Grand. The party is free and will start at 10pm with DJs spinning until 4am. Everyone's favorite Electronic supergroup, Soulwax , have successfully remixed one of my favorite tracks off LCD Soundsystem's latest album release, titled You Wanted A Hit . The Belgium natives begin the track with James Murphy's hones-sounding voice, which mesmerizes the listener in the foreground while minimalistic percussion keeps the beat alive in the background. You Wanted A Hit then leads the listener to a sudden pause, followed by a couple seconds of silence.
