The music of West Coast producer oOoOO is probably best described as dreary. His new EP, Our Loving Is Hurting Us , reaches again and again into a seemingly endless reservoir of melancholy, pitting washy vocals against crisp hip-hop percussion and chirping synths. Butterclock) Lotsa hazy/lush textures and spooky electronic ambience up here in these gorgeous (and completely weirdo/warbly-in-all-the-right -ways) creeper beats by the producer with the semi-indecipherable oOoOO moniker. I can't help but think that a lot of folks are gonna have problems wrapping their heads around this one, but I'm also pretty sure that's at least partly the point .
