The upcoming Transformers: Dark of the Moon opens this Wednesday, and in preparation, a final trailer has been released as well as a few new posters. Shia LeBeouf and his mechanical friends return for the third time around, in what fans hope is redemption from the previous installment in the franchise. The Autobots learn of a Cybertronian spacecraft hidden on the Moon, and race against the Decepticons to reach it and to learn its secrets. This craft has been [...]

Best of recent Beatport releases, part 3! I usuall post free stuff but you have to pay attention to non-free tracks too from time to time. I'd like to feature some releases that I really loved in the past weeks, so here goes... Stereoheroes - Exiles EP I'll start with the latest EP from the French duo Stereoheroes . " Exiles " contains 3 originals (" Longshot ", Wild Child " & " Night Hawk ") and 5 remixes from [...]

The highly anticipated first teaser for the new Transformers 3 film was released earlier this afternoon. The announcement came this past Monday, and fans are probably pissing themselves as we speak... Check it out! Transformers: Dark of the Moon features Sam Witwicky (LaBeouf) taking his first tenuous steps into adulthood while remaining a reluctant human ally of Optimus Prime. The film centers around the space race between the U.S.S.R. [...]

There's ice sculpture and then there's Swiss sculptor Atti and Dutch artist Michel de Kok's eight meter high ode to Autobot leader Optimus Prime. More photos here . Your move WPBH-TV9 weatherman Phil Connors. [via nerdcore ]

sweet track - "two-way mirror (mirror people remix)" (download) If you've been following the Bomarr Blog for a little while, you'll know that I'm a big fan of Mirror People 's stuff. I had heard this great remix of Somerville, Massachusetts artist Sweet Track floating around not too long ago, and was very happy to see this EP show up in my inbox courtesy of Sweet Track 's label Brilliantine . In addition to this classic 802s [...]

Well yesterday as we know the new Ipone was released and it was crazy at Apple stores everywhere.I myself am a droid user but wonder what all the fuss is about its just a damn phone. But then again technology rules us.When they say the machines will rise there is a very good chance that is true.Aside from the craziness of the new iphone we were wondering if it would be worth our time to make Feral Party Kids radio app for the itunes app store in other words all music on our site streamed to your mobile device anytime.Would you [...]
Train: Axel my man, what's happening? Axel: Same ol' same ol' Train, just doing some wandering through a random art gallery. Train: I see...well, when you're done getting your paper-mâché on why don't you crank up the speakers and get your cover on... Vanaprasta - All My Friends (LCD Soundsystem cover) Optimus Prime - Baptism (Crystal Castles cover) Nas - [...]

Oh boy, am I happy to be posting this. Crystal Castles is preparing to release a new record on April 17th on Fiction Records / Lies Records . Their new release will feature their new single, Doe Deer, which I've been hearing around the waterhole, is going to be a straight killer! Included in the EP will be three unreleased tracks recorded all the way back in 2004. You can all expect their signature 'Atari drowning in spilled coffee' sound to be in full swing, as they get ready to go on tour across the U.S. with [...]

Click here to view the embedded video. This isn't actually that funny, though it is miles better than Michael Bay's new crapfest. There is one good laugh in this list and it's pretty obvious which one, so no surprise ruining from me. Also, I'm pretty sure I want Peter Cullen to narrate my life for me. Imagine him standing behind you and saying all the stupid things you do. Getting a beer from the fridge would be epic.
East L.A.'s Los Lobos have signed with L.A.'s Shout! Factory—home to releases by such diverse personalities as Dave Alvin, Roky Erickson, John Coltrane and Optimus Prime—for their 18th full-length, which is yet untitled and without an exact release date. The band will be touring for most of the rest of the year. More info below: Shout! [...]

After posting some Optimus Prime tracks a few days ago, Boris (the man behind Optimus P) sent over some new shit. They're a preview of his forthcoming album in which he says he's taking a different direction. Instead of making instrumental techno ditties, he's featuring vocals on almost all tracks and drawing a little bit of inspiration from the 80s electropop/liveindie scene. He says he loves Empire of the Sun and Ladyhawke and will one day get through the tons of freaking paperwork required for a Serbian dude to get a visa and visit this [...]

Is this the instrumental techno soundtrack that would accompany an epic voyage into outer space? I bet the crew are wearing metallic space boots and technicolour space suits. And there is a mirror ball on the roof of their retro space ship. Holy shit I want to be an astronaut when I grow up. The tracks are from Europa, which is Optimus Prime's fourth album, conceived around 2003 and realised in 2008. The electronic artist from Belgrade, Serbia says it is vaguely inspired by Europa, the mysterious satellite of the planet Jupiter. It reminds [...]
