Our friend EGRV ask us to help them spread the word abut their Traktor Pro controller template for iPad and TouchOSC. From the look of it, it looks pretty good and intuitive while covering all the basis for 2 deck mixing in Traktor Pro. I especially like their choice of faders for EQ since using rotary is usually pretty difficult with touch screen. It's free anyway so you might as well try it out if you're looking for template for your iPad and TouchOSC EGRV Control v.1.1 Requirement: OSX 1.5 [...]

If you make music or follow artists like Daedelus you're probably familiar with the Monome, the grid based OSC controller that gave birth to new ways of composing and performing music. The same people that make the Monome are back with a new controller, this time in the form of the Arc , a high-resolution OSC controller with two knobs which double as push buttons. Like the Monome before it, the Arc is beautifully designed, outfitted in the signature walnut/aluminum casing. At $500 I can tell you right now I'm not getting one, but the Arc sure [...]

If you produce music or do any DJ/VJing you may have heard of the Lemur , a touchscreen device that allows you to design custom controller interfaces and transmit via OSC . I've always wanted one and it's the first thing I thought of when they announced the iPad today. At $500 it would be a great deal compared to the Lemur's nearly $2000 price point. You'd just need software and I assume the guys over at TouchOSC already have something cooking. (I used the TouchOSC interface elements to make the mock-up above) All [...]

Captain Gunners takes over the helm yet again with his murderously whomptastic dubstep step mini mix. It is highly recommended that you give kapgun 15 minutes of your time and check out his tribute to San Francisco's very own OSC ( O utter S unset C lick ). This little mix is perfect for any reggae, dance hall, electronica or deb step fan. The mix was produced as a live dj mix, recorded in real time with no editing direct from California. Please enjoy this mix, and make sure to download some of the related [...]
