It's something I can't explain, but some of TK's mixes come together easily, while others are labors of love. The August mix definitely falls into the latter category. I struggled with everything from committing to an opening track, track order and song selection. Once I had a little over half a mix, I felt like it was still missing something. At first glance Summer Sundae festival in Leicester doesn't look particularly appealing. With the summit of a new Mates of State album almost in reach, the husband-and-wife indie pop duo are doling out even more fall tour dates on top of the lengthy autumn jaunt they've already outlined. It's taken more time than usual, but it's finally ready... Blogophilia 28 represents tracks compiled from April through mid May, and was rendered down while finishing work in U.S., and traveling to Australia, New Zealand and Fiji.
