Last year, when Frank Ocean 's brilliant Channel Orange was being released, Outkast member Big Boi tweeted that he was intending on appearing on said record but his counterpart Andre 3000 refused people to hear a reunion unless it was on another Outkast album in its own right. Franky Baby made it happen. The remix for "Pink Matter" sees the reunion of one of the best rap duo's in the history of hip hop. A new Outkast album is well overdue, but luckily Big Boi is dropping solid albums in the meantime. Andre 3000 lays down some gem verses on various tracks, but not frequently enough. Si ustedes habían estado esperando por alguna reunión de Outkast, pues lo mas probable es que tengan que seguir esperandola ya que al parecer, no hay un interés realmente por parte de André 3000 para revivir esa elegante aventura en un futuro cercano, así que creo que por ahora se tendrán que conformar con este remix que Big Boi armó para la colaboración que hizo André en el aclamado álbum de Frank Ocean titulado "Channel Orange", el cual ya no hace falta mencionar que fue uno de los que mas desfiló por los primeros lugares de los listados [...]
A homie and I recently took a long road trip from CHI to MIA. On the way back I decided to listen to the original mix of this track. To my surprise all this joint got was complaints, no love and more bitching "Dude when's this gonna drop, I'm bout to fall out"....
