Who knew Austra is a big fan of The Strokes . So good that they did a track for Stereogum's Tribute to The Stroke's This Is It compilation . The compilation features various acts from Owen Pallett covering Hard To Explain and the morning benders covering Last Night and many more. But I really love Austra's version of Alone, Together making a rock track into a electronica dance track. Have a listen to Alone, Together .

In honor of the 10th anniversary of The Strokes ' debut album Is This It , Stereogum got some of their favorite artists together to cover each track: Stroked: A Tribute To Is This It . Tweet Yesterday two thirds of SGTMT headed to London's Hyde Park to watch Arcade Fire, with support from Owen Pallett, The Vaccines, Beirut and Mumford & Sons.
