The Luyas popped up on my radar while I was trying to figure out what happened to Owen Pallett (aka Final Fantasy). The Canadian outfit formed back in 2006, and are set to release their second full-length, Too Beautiful to Work , on Dead Oceans on February 22nd. The Luyas aren't as unknown as you would suspect. Although the band's name is unfamiliar, two out of the four Montreal members were/are affiliated with the Arcade Fire. They include: former multi-instrumentalist, Pietro Amato, and current violinist, Sarah Neufeld.
