
CMJ has never really made sense to me. A bunch of bands, acts and DJs performing a week long festival in NYC. It is hardly the place to host a festival. Isn't there always lots of acts all year around at very close venues? Where CMJ can succeed is by showcasing more than up and coming acts, but perhaps a new idea. Thus, BPM 2011 is born.
