Sehr erfreulich, dass es immer wieder coole Indierock-Bands gibt, die abseits der gerade angesagten Wave-/Dance-Pfade in die Saiten greifen. Als ich neulich eine Promomail erhielt, die mich auf das neue Video «Lions» des Brooklyner Quartetts Pacific Theater hinwies, war ich doch sofort sehr begeistert, wie erfrischend und kompakt die Jungs hier klingen – sie erinnern mich dabei an z.B. Toronto's The Junction will be releasing their third album, Another Link In The Chain. If you aren't familiar with the band, they feature a nice combination of upbeat indie-pop grooves and jazzy melodic bits resulting in a very catchy sound.
