Words by Matt Yau It’s been three years now since the release of the Spanish duo’s debut album and their shimmering sounds still shine with splendour. ‘ Remembering Better Times ’ is the third single from their LP, Hope Only Brings Pain , and also the albums opening track. Layer by layer, this wistful track builds patiently; creating the kind of atmospheric swelling that could make it a movie soundtrack. For similar reasons, it’s a wonderful album opener too; a mood-setter for the rest of the LP. As a [...]

In the world of entertainment. the world "trilogy" can mean various things. Sometimes it's that a franchise is so solid that it needs three installments to get its point across ( Back to the Future / Lord of the Rings /etc). Other times, it's franchises in desperate need of cashing in while the iron is still hot ( Robocop / Species ). Sometimes a franchise just needs a fresh approach, and that's exactly what Rockstar games and writer Dan Houser ( Red Dead Redemption and Grand Theft Auto 4 ) did when they released Max Payne 3 . "Every track emanates a distinct sense of purpose and undeniable creativity. Each track stands out with a distinctive sound, beat, and story...." A$AP Rocky | Long.Love.A$AP Born into a culture of hip hop, Harlem rapper ASAP Rocky reflects the culture in both name and spirit, as he was named after hip hop legend Rakim and began rapping at the age of eight. Although preceded by a flurry of mix tapes, which fostered ASAP’s growing success and fan base, LongLiveA$AP will be ASAP’s debut album. Intense anticipation has been mounting, as ASAP promoted [...]

Some very intense and haunting sludge metal here from Belgium's Amenra. I really cannot stress enough just how haunting this song is. The vocals are filled with a sort of furious pain that sounds so distant like it is being sucked up by the instrumentation, but not in such a way that it feels drowned out due to the mixing. While the music provides a tension that feels unparalleled with a progression that reminds me of Mogwai the tension is somehow furthered by the visuals. The video is a bizarre clay stop motion piece that will be in my dreams for [...]

As fragile as I am Lost in a sea of broken shells I spin on mercilessly With dark force menace I linger at times Sucking up souls before powering on To my next goal I slash like a knife Across land and seascape Tossing life like It is meaningless to me A tragic surge A wonderwall of water Punishing winds that tear And what do you call me? Senseless names that belie The truth of what I am The [...]

Week long of hell with no computer is finally over. Sorry for the wait. This track I wanted to post all week, but couldn't get to it. Pusha T is back off the ultra successful Cruel Summer. He decides to bring Future along for the beat and creates a dark banger. This could definitely play in some headphones walking into the boxing ring. Follow @OceanPdestrians

New Pusha T featuring Future called “Pain”. Not loving the autotune hook at all, but the Kanye-produced beat is top notch and Pusha’s verses are on point, per usual. This is apparently his debut single from his upcoming Def Jam debut.

Shortly after the release of Cruel Summer , G.O.O.D. Music emcee Pusha T drops an impromptu new single, titled "Pain". The Kanye West produced track is a creatively gritty single mixing heavy bass, maraca rips, gunshot echoes and background vocals cultivating a dark vibe. As expected, the Bronx rapper does this tough beat justice by delivering some dope lines throughout his lyrically witty verses. With lines like "18 wheeler gorillas/ black with gold chains/pitch bird like the steelers/hines ward of the crime lords/running through this money screaming encore," Pusha T [...]

With 'Cruel Summer' out of the way, Pusha-T is back working on his forthcoming solo project, which is expected to drop next year. "Pain" is the latest single from the aforementioned LP and it features a catchy hook by Future plus the usual epic production by our very own Kanye West & No I.D.. This one definitely bangs, listen below!

Kanye West has been busy lately since the release of his G.O.O.D. Music album "Cruel Summer" and this track featuring Future kind of seems like a cut off that album that just didn't make it cause an uncleared sample or something.

Pusha T comes back at us with a brand new track from his long awaited solo debut according to his official site. It features a guest spot from Future and they say his album is set to drop next year. We'll see about that, but for now you can stream "Pain" in full below via Soundcloud or pick it up on iTunes. Note that the track is actually streaming on Kanye 's Soundcloud too. I don't trust anyone with my passwords, not even my crappy damn toy money box with a total of around 50p in [...]

Those little rascals over at G.O.O.D Music are at it again.

Pusha T drops his new single featuring Future off his upcoming album dropping early 2013. PREVIOUS: Video: Alley Boy Ft. Pusha T – Your Favorite Rapper Tweet
Clipse rapper and, more recently, G.O.O.D. Music consigliere Pusha T has a new album coming sometime next year, and its first single made its way onto the internet last night. It's called "Pain," and it's an excellently sparse and sinister track. Sad R&B robot Future gives what might be his saddest-robot hook, sounding like a copying machine crying itself to sleep, and Pusha gives great low-key hardness. Listen below. Read More...

Deen is on the phone, cooking sopes at the same damn time. Call me cynical or even humorless, but when will rappers learn? Seriously? What's the damn point in putting Future on a hook if you aren't aiming for the charts? I mean, I fux with gritty and gully-sounding shit more than the next person, but some shit oughta qualify as no-brainers. Sure, Future can do this kinda stuff and the execution is beyond reproach in a deranged robot way, but it all feels utterly pointless to this Pusha T fan. After all, [...]
It's only been a month since his participation on the G.O.O.D. Music group album, now Pusha T returns tonight with his long-awaited first single "Pain," for his debut album to be released via Def Jam Records that happen to just found its way onto KanyeWest.com. Alongside Pusha is the auto-Tune friendly Future on the hook then comes the Pyrex king with his sharp and illustrative lyrics. He may not be the flashiest rapper around but he is one of the most consistent and seasoned out there right now. Pusha’s solo album is on target for a 2013 release and [...]

Pusha T drops a new track with Atlanta rapper, Future. The song is gritty even with Future letting off his usual auto-tuned hooks. “Pain,” could possibly the first single off Pusha’s new album. Pusha T Feat. Future - Pain
