We don't like Paloma Faith 's ridiculous "I'm a six year old boy who wants to play with trains" speaking voice. We do like this song. A lot. And Christ, can she sing the shit out of it. Not entirely sure a honking great confetti cannon is the right staging for a song about pulling yourself together after a break up, but hey, each to their own.

Promo copy of the PALOMA FAITH 's album number two, FALL TO GRACE , arrived yesterday and I gave her a listen on the walk to work this AM. Coupla good mp3s on there, espesh the first coupla. I appreciate the sentiment of the album and can relate to the emotion she's trying to represent but I feel lyrically she's quite naff in quite a few places. Perhaps a lil too direct.
