I know I'm super late but I have good excuses. I've been distracted by the Olympics and by my newly purchased motorcycle (super excited!!!) Apparently I'm in a dancing mood this week with quite a few electronic/house/club/rap sounds. Don't worry, there is plenty of indie in there too. Passion Pit - I've [...]

Roaaaaaaaaaaaaaaar - we exceed the limit! With the full use of our physical strength we hurled ourselves into the libbards vivarium and pinched 'em their gravely catchy tunes right from under their little cats-asses and emerged unscathed. Later we received a mail: " hey you ungainly guys, just ask next time - we share our stuff with good grace with you, really! " Harrumph! So, what do we have here? Three great chums of Pink Panther named Ed, Phil and Dex. They sneak up from Down Under with the power to astonish the whole world. They're talented, they're [...]
Green Light [...]

These cats hail out of Brisbane and make some seriously catchy tunes, they slide into the current musical climate with enough vigour to take over the world. I'm definitely sensing some all conquering conquests from these guys. Having been selected to participate in the MTV kickstart parties, they follow this with their ep launch(INTO THE NIGHT) dates all over the east coast, if you are into seeing bands before they blow the hell up, then check their dates here>>> For now enjoy this, -im-not-the-one,panther dlx ps: you may want to lend [...]

While I was in Carolina I saw a billboard that stated, "Educated people know the bible." Basically they're saying if you don't know the bible than you're stupid. Shame. Panther DLX - The Fall "I'm forever waiting for that fall" Like we needed another great 80's electro group from Australia, right? 2008 is really starting to shape up as the year of the Aussies. Galvatrons, Ladyhawke, Krill, Amy Meredith, Faker, The Cops, Midnight Juggernauts... I could go on and on. Panther DLX is a great addition to that list with a very pop/electro sound. They will be releasing their debut EP soon and [...]

I really like Panthers. They're cool animals. As seen by the picture Panther dlx are pretty cool too. I've seen Panther dlx play live several times now, and the kids seem to dig it. They have such a seasoned on stage presence for a band who has only played a handful of shows. Panther DLX - "Slave In Line Out" Panther DLX - "Night Time" And TO SHADES at it again: [...]

You Start Again I am going to try to make this post short in words but long in minutes of music delivered. I feel as if I owe it to you considering my recent absence. Below you will find a few albums I am listening to at the moment (well was listening to a couple of weeks ago when I was meant to make the post until The Presets – Apocalypso came out!!). I am also going to hit you with a whole lot of sweet tracks which various artist have sent me over the last [...]

PANTHER DLX is a 3 piece from Queensland, Australia. They formed in August last year and recorded a demo in September/October. They've played with Midnight Juggernauts, Para One, Bumblebeez, Boyz Noize, Riot In Belgium, The Glimmers, Architecture In Helsinki, The Galvatrons and many others.. They're currently in pre production for a new EP that's due out in August and look out for them on a tour of Australia's east coast in June/July. Here's a smooth, retro sounding original, plus a reworking by Brisbane producer DYCE . mp3: panther dxl - the fall. [...]

cred: Anthony Lister I'm not dead. That's it in a nutshell. This blog may've felt like a ghost ship for the last week and a bit, which I've got to apologise for. Sorry kiddos. Work's been moving shizz 'round and Stef and I have been total concert whores. So the blog's taken a back seat. What's more, I guess there hasn't really been incredibly much to blog about lately. Come on, Vuvuvuvu turned out to [...]
