Gifted lyricist F.Stokes is gearing up to release his new album,  Fearless Beauty , that centers on his formative years in the southside of Chicago. It was there that he witnessed firsthand the severe ups and downs of life, all the while finding strength in the resilience of his family. That time gave him a strong sense of unity, which is the focus of powerful lead single "Shaka Zulu". "Warsaw," produced by fellow Doomtree member Papertiger, is off of Dessa's forthcoming album Parts of Speech due out at the end of May.  The elecro-rock beat reminds me of one that you'd find on P.O.S.' last album, We Don't Even Live Here .  If this is the direction that most of the Doomtree crew is headed, I think I can dig it.  Give it a listen and let us know what you think.

Last night we posted the incredible new remix by Bear//Face of The 19752s 'Intro/Set32 (...listen/download here..) which absolutely blew our minds. Today we discovered this equally mind-blowing video for the track 'Cereal Sauce' which was co produced by Paper Tigers  and can be found on the Beat-Tape EP by Bear//Face (which is a must-get, by the way). The video features eerie morphing jelly-fish creatures which surround beautiful floating girls. It's too staggering for words. Grab this golden EP and enjoy the incredible beats of Bear//Face.
