Marble Music starts 2012 with an awesome EP! Para One , one of the founders of Marble together with Surkin and Bobmo, release his new EP with two originals and a remix by Mr. Oizo . The title track "Mother" got remixed by the french regisseur and musician Quentin Dupieux aka Mr. Oizo but my favourite tracks are both originals. En sachant que la prochaine sortie chez Marble Records sera un EP de Para One , il suffit de jeter un rapide coup d'œil à la tracklist pour être sur que c'est l'une des plus grosses sorties qu'ait pu connaitre le label jusqu'à présent. I reviewed this album a while back and though it certainly had its moments, it never quite kicked off. So it's pleasing to see L-Vis 1990 return to one of the tracks (a collaboration with Sound Pellegrino 's Teki Late and Para One ) to give it a dirtier, Grimier edge. Completely removing the upbeat jovial nature of the original, L-Vis 19902s 'Street Reprise' adds a gritty bassline and caustic drums for a much more enjoyable listen.
