Brand spanking new single from Toronto's own Parallels . Directed by by Middleschool (Norman Wong, Aaron Kopff, and Daniel Grant). Definitely gives you a taste of the recorded Parallels if you've never heard them. But don't sleep on seeing them live, they are spectacular, and Miss Holly's stage dancing is pretty hypnotic.
This beautiful animated video is made by Kilian Eng, one half of DW . He's also an illustrator ( DW Design ) when he's not composing great nu italo tracks. Detachments ' "Fear No Fear" was one of my singles of last year , so tomorrow's release of their new single "The Flowers That Fell" is something to be excited about. Parallels blow my mind. I had listened to their music from their MySpace after meeting Cam. It was solid and I liked it so I ended up going out to one of their shows to shoot and interview not knowing exactly what to expect. Honestly, it was one of the best shows I have seen and Cam is a stellar drummer, he used to hold it down for Crystal Castles before the project. Parallels blows my mind.
