A Place To Bury Strangers' exclusive Record Store Day release "Strange Moon," is a tribute to Portland punk veterans Dead Moon on 123 colored vinyl (for those vinyl fetishists out there).  In conjunction with the record, the band released this statement: "I first saw Dead Moon perform around 1992. Coisas que só o Record Store Day nos proporciona. Uma parceria entre Garbage e Screaming Females já seria notável. Tal parceria para um cover de Because the Night , de Patti Smith então já é mais interessante ainda. Mas o resultado do encontro de Shirley Manson e Marissa Paternoster sob a sempre brilhante mente de Butch Vig ficou acima da média. Potência vocal + guitarras barulhentas. Uma total reconstrução mais pesada da música e a incrível sensação repassada de se estar fazendo algo com prazer.

'90s alt-pop professionals Garbage and Jersey basement-punk heroes Screaming Females have an unlikely bond. They toured together last year, and Scremales leader Marissa Paternoster joined Garbage onstage regularly to cover Patti Smith's " Because The Night " (itself the result of an unlikely Smith/Springsteen alliance).
